Xris shook his head. "Whatever you say Yllarius." He said picking up the wink and the actual intention of the wink. He was marvelled at the fact that a castle this old was still standing and in good shape. He thought for a moment about the headmaster. "Yeah, Drayden told me about the headmaster. Sometimes he really can be bad news." He said looking around in pure amuzement.

Joscelin followed him, making sure to take in every detail. She listened to what Yllarius said and nodded. "Not all castles are old. There's bound to bee a bunch of castles younger than you are." Joscelin said, grinning. "And since you're older than me then it is true, because I helped build a few castles arounf the age of 200... But age can be an emotional subject so I'm just going to stop talking about it now.." Joscelin mumbled. "Yes well everyone has their moods. Unfortunately yours is set to whatever your idea of charm is." She said. "And of course, seeing anything fall down is good. If I ever saw you trip I think I'd laugh about it for days. unless when you trip you're still as elegant as when you walk. Then I'd just be scared." Joscelin laughed. "Leave me out of your fantasies, Professor. I shouldn't be in them if I'm not returning the favor."

Yllarius gave a quizical look at Joscelin. "Why would age be a touchy subject? Do you have a haunted past m'dear?" The golden man arched a brow at Xris. "So you've met the headmasters lover, did you? He's much more...elegant." He said stopping, to motion at the window. "This is the courtyard, infested with mindless students in the day, but beautiful in the moonlight after they all go to bed...." He would have winked at Joscelin again, but decided she would have guessed his meaning by now. "My Idea of charm is the right kind, because I can change it into whatever I want. You just wait and see. And I don't trip, I'm graceful enough that I havn't tripped in...a long time."

"Yes.. A haunted past. I guess that could describe it well enough. Maybe haunted isn't the right word but..." Joscelin looked at Xris, then Yllarius. "I haven't met either of them. I've only met you two... One of wich I may end up regretting, or liking." She said, reffering to Yllarius. "But unfortunatly, when the students are in bed, so will I be. I'd have nothing else to do thats actually worth my time." She said, crossing her arms and continuing to look. "Your idea of charming woman is definately the strangest way I've ever seen. I've been better charmed by a dog. And you may be graceful but the way you talk to women isn't. Maybe if you treated us more like an equal then an adventure it might add to what little charm you seem to have on me."

Xris looked at Joscelin. "Are you implying that Yllarius is a narcassist?" He asked looking out into the courtyard. "Such beauty..." He said breaking into the convorsation. "I am more like the exact opposite Joscelin." He said looking to the sky. "My Seniors will be assisting me in finding some answers of the past using the stars. They will be up very early in order to see what I want them to see. I am a nightowl, rarely sleeping." He said trying to break the somewhat tension between the two.

"Good evening, instructors," came a fluid voice behind the faculty members, and a young student gave a fluid bow. "Enjoying your lunch?"
The new teachers wouldn't recognize him, but his name was Lucien, a young dhamphir mage. A sophomore, highly skilled with magic and hiding unfathomable potential. Already an accomplished spellcastor, he's at the top of his arcane classess, especially for his grade. Could any less be expected from the Vice Headmaster's son?
As he rose from his respectful inclination, he breifly paused to adjust his dark, blood-colored hair in it's clip, a smile tugging at his lips.
"Three teachers in one place can't be a good sign."

Yllarius laughed. "Implying? Everyone knows it Xris, either your very dim or a major in staing the obvious." He joked, then thingyed his head and gre puppy ears and big round pleading eyes. "Like that?" He asked, in little more than a whimper. Then when Lucien's voice was heard he turned his head, his face becoming completely normal. "Hello, shouldn't you be at lunch with the other brats- I mean, children?" He asked through slitted eyes. Children were so undisciplined these days. They needed a good flogging now and again.

Joscelin watched Yllarius grow ears, and his eyes change, and shook her head. "Changing your appearence won't make you any more charming to me Yllarius. Maybe one day when I actually find you charming I'll--" Joscelin stopped and looked at the boy. "Yes, thank you." She said with a small smile. "Professor Yllarius was just giving us a tour of the castle." She told the student. "You can take my place if you want. I think I've had a little too much of the charm Yllarius seems to think hes giving. I'll tour myself." Joscelin continued on, walking away from the others.

Xris turned to the student. "The stars are telling me that you are one of my new Astrology students." He said nodding. "Sir Yllarius os just giving us a tour of the school, young pupil. Since you are one of my Astro students, and the stars never lie, would you be willing to show me my observatory so that I can get everything prepared?" He asked the student with a smile. He turned back to Yllarius. "Students are not disciplined because teachers fail to give them the structure they need to grow and build a solid understanding. In a sense, you can blame yourself for children being disobedient." He said turning. "Come, my student."

"Oh, but professor," he said to Yllarius in a voice so silken, it couldn't even pretend to have the slightest tint of innocence or naivete, "I'm excused from lunch for not playing nice with the other students."
His smile curved into a smirk, crimson eyes sparked with mischief. It was pretty apparent he didn't have much in common with his father...especially in how delicate his body looked. He was small and thin, with fragile bones, not at all like Drayden's athletic, combat-trained form.
Still, Lucien had an air of confidence that didn't make him seem weak at all.
"It would certainly be my pleasure to show you to your class," Lucien replied, turning his attention the cerulean haired instructor. His tone and expression remained unchanged, almost as though there was consistent laughter behind his words. "I would hate, after all, to seem like...a disobedient brat."

Yllarius hissed inaudibly at Lucien, mentally taking down his name. "If you don't play nice then you won't have any friends, and you'll be all alone in this world when your body turns to dust." He said, obviously insultingly. Then he turned and left as well, he would go back to his room, through to his tower to gather the things he needed for his classes. Stupid brats, why did I even take this job anyways? I could be out doing whatever the hell I want, and wouldn't be surronded by not a very nice persons and pig-headed women." He thought to himself, quickening his pace to a brisk violent walk.

When joscelin saw them all take their leave, she sighed in relief, and walked quickly back to the faculty lounge, opening the door and stepping in. She saw the black back she had been carrying previously and grabbed it, lwinging it over her shoulder. She left the room again , walking down the halls. I hope I didn't make Yllarius too angry She thought. She slowly made her way out of the school, to the courtyard and to the garden.

"I hardly think such a lecture is appropriate from you," Lucien murmured, watching Yllarius as he started to leave. He was aware of the illusionist's reputation, after all. "I doubt I'm the only one here who will be alone when my body turns to dust."
He hadn't really meant to get the golden-haired instructor riled, but he felt pleased with himself nonetheless.
"Well, then," his crimson eyes turned back to the one he needed to escort. "See we be on our way?"
Smiling faintly, he led the other away from the faculty lounge and towards the Astrology dome.
