Joscelin sat down on a bench in the garden, looking around her. By looking at her, you'd never think she was the kind of woman interested in flowers, but she loved them. They were pretty, they smelled nice, and they didn't talk. She opened her small black bag and pulled out a book. She opened the book and started to read, enjoying the quiet of the garden.

Not far from her was a young freshman, sitting in the grass, his hands working in the soil. He was mostly concealed by the plants, but when he saw her take a seat and pull out her book he paused to study her for a moment.
Was she a teacher here? This was his first day, so...he didn't know any of the teachers yet. Maybe he should introduce himself?
As far as he knew he only had one female teacher, and that was for Survival. Could this be her?
Brushing off his hands, the boy rose and approached her. He was a pretty blonde youth with thick, golden hair pulled up into a high ponytail with two long tendrils left to frame his face and fall over his shoulders, his pale blue eyes light and well-mannered.
"Hello, Miss," he greeted, inclinining his head respectfully. "I'm sorry to bother you, but...are you a teacher here?"

Joscelin waited a moment before putting a bookmark in place, closing the book, and looking up at the student. She smiled. "What nice manners." She said with a slight nod. "Yes I am a teacher her, and trust me, its no bother. I'm Professor Joscelin. I teach Elemental Magic, Water and Ice." She told the boy while putting her book back into the small black bag she carried. "Do you spend a lot of time in the garden?" She asked him before standing up. "I know I will be. Its very peaceful in the garden. I like it."

The boy smiled in a friendly manner, tucking his hands behind his back. "Nice to meet you, Professor. I'm Lusen de Winter," he introduced.
Elemental water and ice...no, he didn't have that class, so she probably wouldn't be teaching him. Still, it was good to get acquainted with all the instructors, right?
"Yeah," he answered, his pale eyes drifting over the garden. "I helped Professor Ydranna and Professor Dyakov plant and take care of most of these."
He liked spending time in the garden, it was serene and peaceful. Somewhere to go when he needed to think and sort things out, or just take a break from people.
"Do you like it here so far?" he inquired conversationally, looking back to her.

Over towards the guard a boy with long red head stepped out a set of doors wondering towards the garden. There didn't seem to be any particular reason for him to wonder outside during lunch.
Maybe to check on the garden and his brother.
"Hey!" When he saw professor Joscelin and Lusen he went to wave and run over to him, though..
His feet caught the bottom of his robes twisting his ankle about and sending him face first into the loosened soil. Sitting there for a moment, letting his face heat up in embarrassment.

"Its very nice to meet you too, Lusen." She replied. Joscelin almost always treated people with respect, no matter how they acted to her. There were only few exceptions, like Professor Yllarius, who had managed to get on her nerves with his constant 'charming' attitude. But he wasn't so bad. He definitely wasn't the worst.
"You helped?" She asked, looking around. "It really is a beautiful sight. You and the Professors did a wonderful job." She told him. "Yes, I like it here. Its a good school. I just hope I get good students. But good or bad, at least I'll be teaching." She said. She turned when she heard the other boy, and watched with slightly wide as as he fell. She quickly walked over and knelt down beside him. "Are you alright?" She asked.

"Innovin!" Lusen called when his brother fell, running over to him. On seeing that he had only tripped and was fine, however, he stopped, lifting his hand to his mouth and giggling softly.
"Be careful," he said with a smile, offering his hand to the redhead to help him up.
The two boys were twins, that much was obvious, but they weren't identical so it wasn't really difficult to tell them apart. The easiest way was the difference between Innovin's rich red hair and Lusen's flowing gold.
"Are you hurt?"

With his face still in the dirt, he held out his hand and grabbed Lusen's when he felt the other's near his. Sometimes the male was far from graceful, especially on the outside due to uneven ground.
Standing he kept his face down.It was only a teacher and his brother, but still sometimes his little tumbles
"I'm fine, Sorry.."

Lusen had a thief's dexterity most of the time, and helped pull his brother up with ease. Smiling reassuringly, he lifted a white handkerchief and began to clean off his brother's face, clearing away the soil.
"It's alright, these things happen," he said affectionately, continuing his task. "You should be more careful, though..."

Gypsy had been taking a tour around the school to get to know her way around and was told that it was lunchtime and some of the students may be in the courtyard. She thought it would be nice to talk to them and start getting to know them on an individual basis and not on a teacher student level to begin with.
Gypsy walked out the courtyard and nodded at the guard. Putting her hand over her forehead a bit because the sun was so bright, she just stood there for a second letting her eyes get used to the sunlight.
Once her eyes got used to the sun she did see a few students and a teacher. One was talking to a teacher and another was walking towards them so she didn't want to intrude.
She picked a side of the oak tree where nobody was and sat down. The courtyard was very beautiful and she just wanted to take it all in. She hadn't seen one so beautiful before.

"I was trying to be careful.." He whispered as he kept his hands down to let Lusen wipe the dirt from his face. It started to hurt now from the initial fall, nothing too bad of course.
Though he was very embarrassed he was smiling widely now and hugging onto Lusen. "Where is uncle Sari?"

"I dunno, probably getting ready for class," Lusen told his brother with a smile, pocketing the handkerchief. He was a little worried about their uncle, really...Sari was really great with people and he was very paternal, but Lusen thought some of the students here might give him some trouble.
Well, he was sure their uncle would handle it.
Lusen caught sight of the other woman sitting nearby and, recognizing her as one of the staff, walked over to introduce himself, taking Innovin's hand and bringing him along as well.
"'Afternoon, Miss," the blonde twin said good-naturedly to Gyspy, inclining his head slightly as a show of respect. He was wearing his uniform, the maroon vest identifying him as a freshman. "You're a teacher here, aren't you?"

-The sound of a large bell, firm but melodic in its reverberating alarm, echoed throughout the school to signal that fifth period would soon begin.-

Gypsy stuck out her hand to shake the boys hand. "I'm Gypsy, and yes, I'm a teacher here. What might your name be?" she asked while picking up her things after hearing the bell. She motioned for the boy to walk with her so neither one of them would be late for 5th period.

"Lusen," the blonde answered with a smile, walking with her back towards the school and still keeping a hold of Inno's hand. "And this is my twin, Innovin."
He didn't readily offer their last name, as it tended to attract strange reactions. It was kind of weird to be attending a school bearing their surname.
De Winter. Founded by their grandfather, Nadani de Winter.
"It's a pleasure to meet you." Always the polite one.
