Lucien's hips hit his desk slightly when Nox groped him, which he, for some reason, had not been expecting. But the mage only chuckled to himself, pulling out one of his books as if it was nothing.
Either his reputation really preceded him or he was just that charming.
What a sinful bishop...and during class, too...
Another student, Ryukouzi, had been right outside the door when he heard the lock click. He sighed, pausing.
Why lock the door, anyway?
But he shifted, knocking lightly on it. Truthfully, it didn't matter if he was sent away. He wasn't concerned.

Avius was now completely relaxed in this unfamiliar environment. Though it would still be comforting to know that there was someone familiar there. The Yillren boy watched carefully as the instructor passed papers out. Would it be something like what all normal public school teachers would give? From all those years of public schooling, Avius noticed that each teacher at the beginning of class would hand out a syllabus, general rules and regulations regarding the current class. Usually, an unimportant detail such as what paper was being passed out first, didn't make the wolf boy curious. But this curiosity probably had something to do with the anxiousness of his first day. Avius took a deep breath and waited for his turn to get the mystery paper.

It was something like what normal teachers passed out. Mostly rules and what they were going to be learning this year. He tried to make their first day more for learning the rules and requirements and then the fallowing classes would be tough.
The knock at the door barely surprised him. His first late student. How delightful. Opening the door he looked the male over and thingyed his head to the side.
"Excuse ?"

Lucien barely gave the paper a second glance. He rested his chin in his palm, flipping through a book written with an unreadable text. All the 'letters' were was a series of lines and points, but he seemed to interested in it nonetheless.
Hm...
"I apologize," came the even tone of the male student at the door. Ryukouzi shifted, dark eyes on Nox.
Excuse?
His eyes flicked to the clock up on wall in the hallway.
"I'm not late," he answered. It wasn't a protest or an arguement, just a statement. "I still have twenty-three and a half seconds."
That was plenty of time.

At least THIS was the same. The fact that the first day was all about rules of the class somehow comforted Avius. Now a bit more relaxed, he flipped through the novel he had been reading earlier, and leaned back in his chair, placing the bookmark with a shiny silver razor blade on the table. It was almost impossible to bring Avius out of the book he was currently reading. It would take just about an explosion to get him to lift his head from the current sentence. Waiting for class to start always bored him. Let's hope his teacher had a strong sense of humor and try not to make a big deal out of Avius' trance. Nox Let Ryuko in. He was correct...he still did have a few more minutes before he was officially late. d**n it
Anyways.
Nox turned so the boy could get into the class and get into which ever seat he chose.
As he was moving back to the front of the classroom the bishop stopped and turned his attention to Avius who was reading. Well that ....was very rude wasn't it? A flicker of annoyance crossed his lovely features. "Put your book away, Avius."

Avius didn't budge. He didn't even blink. Completely entranced in his book, he only flipped the page the voices of Bella Swan and Edward Cullen being the only things he could hear. Avius' right first finger tapped at the back cover of the novel.
Minutes passed and Avius still had yet to raise his head from the novel. Poor child.

Half a minute, really, but that was enough for Ryuko. Still...he made a mental note to arrive to class earlier so this wouldn't happen again. His intention certainly wasn't to ruffle feathers.
Silently, he stepped into the room and took a seat, listening to Professor de Winter address the violet-haired Avius, whom he recognized off-handedly as the boy from the lake.
Lucien heard everything that had happened, but his eyes didn't lift from his text either. Like Avius, he was reading; one of his spellbooks, to be precise. Unlike Avius, Lucien was perfectly aware and comprehensive of everything that occured around him. Ergo, he didn't see any reason to tuck away his book.
Avius, however, clearly could not read without getting immersed in his novel. Not a very wise thing...certainly Nox would get annoyed and have him stay after class.
Ah...but that wouldn't do, would it? How troublesome.
Discreetly, under his desk, Lucien made a flicking motion of two fingers without raising his gaze. Immediately, Avius' precious Sweeny Todd snapped closed. Hopefully that would be enough to either appease the bishop or snap Avius from his daze...or both, even.

[[actually the book is Twilight. Sweeney Todd is what's on the bookmark]]
When Avius' book shut itself, he jumped. The shocked wolf boy scanned the room with his bright blue eyes, suddenly brought back to reality. Students were snickering and chattering about him... and the teacher did not look pleased. Avius grinned awkwardly and said, with his enchanting Yillren voice, "Sorry, Teacher. I had no idea that class had started." Quickly, Avius flipped through his novel and placed the bookmark in its proper place. Then he put the book on the table and grinned, more confident now, at the teacher. "Sorry to hold you up." He apologized again.

Nox was not pleased. Actually he was pretty annoyed. Somethings he could over look with a playful grin, but clearly this was one of his peeves. "If I catch you reading again then the book with feed the fires." He snapped.
The bishop wouldn't even care if it was one of the school's book. Clearly class had started when he was passing out the papers.
The nerve of some students.
Some of the students -were- snickering and laughing at the boy until the man shot them all a glance. "Not a good way to start off the year, Avius"

(Ah, sorry. XD I forgot. Maybe Lucien thought it was Sweeny Todd because of the bookmark ^^)
Lucien smiled.
Deciding a second reprimand would be troublesome at this point, Lucien lifted his fingers off his text, the enigmatic lettering vanishing from the pale pages. Then he closed his book, but left it on his desk.
He was slightly annoyed, but concluded that it could be dealt with later.
Maintaining his smile, he looked at Avius, catching his gaze and then mouthing the words you owe me.

Avius' grin vanished when the teacher snapped at him and he held his head low, after holding onto the treasured novel in his arms. "Sorry..." He murmured again, embarrassment and shame masking his generally beautiful face. After looking behind him, he saw someone mouth the words you owe me. and he nodded once, his smile still not returned. Avius made a mental note: Keep the reading in the dorm room. Though how he would be able to do that, he had no idea, but it wouldn't hurt to try. He sighed and pulled out a black pen with skulls all around it. His favorite. Maybe if he paid extra attention and took a few notes, the teacher would let up on him, and let his newbie mistake slide.

Nox's features didn't hold displeasure for long. No, a smile would curve his beautiful lips once more. What was it that had him so on edge...or to shift moods so quickly like that?
Leaning forward the older gentlemen place his hand under the pretty youth's chin and lifted his head. "No do not frown...you are too beautiful for that." Again....he was suddenly happy?
Turning around Nox headed back to his desk to place the rest of the papers down on his desk. "My class is simple. Do as I say and all will be well."
Turned and looked at Lucien..
what had he been doing?

Avius blushed slightly and nodded. First time anyone ever said he was "beautiful". He quickly hid his face behind his hair, so others wouldn't notice his face changing to the light shade of pink that it was, and so he could focus on writing on the piece of paper in front of him.

The boy's blush didn't go without noticing and it made the bishop even more delighted then before.
Some of the student's that were behind Avius began to whisper to each other. Nox had a reputation....whether it was good or not would be something the british boy would have to find out.
"As long as you pay attention, do as I say and....don't use the poisons on school grounds you all will do fine.."
(It's all good!! )
