We all know what the "F" word is, and its many....colorful...uses. How does this affect you? Wfat is your stance on it? Where and when can it be used and when should it not?

I actually had this conversation recently.
I'll admit, I can have a rather loose tongue when it comes to swearing. f**k is in my vocabulary and it does surface somewhat often. But my thoughts are...f**k or fudge, what difference does it make? Same meaning, slightly different word (though one sounds a little more retarded).
Same thing with nuts and shoot. Let people say what they want to say, but it shouldn't be a big deal if people say the real thing.

Lol, proboards automatically asterixes curse words, that's going to get on my nerves quickly.
And for my last paragraph, I didn't say 'nuts', I said sh--it. (How annoying)

The F word is probably the most versitile word in the English language. www.jokefrog.com/flash/history-of-the-f-word.shtml will explain. I personally feel that it's a good stress relieving exclamation, so why not use it? Might not be best to confront your boss or parents with it, though.

In a good many instances, I'd say that F u c k is the only appropriate word. It can be used in it's alternate forms to capture emotion, or in it's original form to capture vulgarity. "Hey, you dirty little very *friendly* person! We're going to go out behind the movie theater and I'm going to fudge your brains out!" Just doesn't have the same heft...

No, But it's friggin hilarious. XD
In the end. I don't think the F word should be banned from schools. Like Bharune said we can say it any other way. It's just another way of the church eroding away our rights. That's wyh it's profanity. Root word being Profane. And it's vulgar because of the Chruch.

The only reason the F words is less offensive to us and more offensive to our past generational hummanoids is that Back in "thir days" the f word was the most exclusive of curse words, it was the hiarch of the swear court. As people used it to try and offend and be "radical" they made it a looser term and lost its power. Today to most un-crochity people is has the same connotation as sheit and daam. TO make a comparison todays youth now finds words such as those describing female genitalia more uncomfortable and controverse. I think for now that The F word should be refrained from use where adults and other older members of the community reside at least till the baby boomers become very aged and our generation can make it a sense able norm like sheit and daam. Until then lets keep it to lunch tables friends houses and phone calls and other un adult places. I have no doubt that the next generation will find some new word much easier to say that might shock and offend us all. If it didn't shock and offend, how could it be the king of the curses?
