Dita was still sitting against the railing of the second level railing. Listening to the adults. The fact that they seemed to be distracted each other was a relief until he heard Theron say he'd find him. Crap. Not. Good. If he was found he'd be in a load of trouble and that was really the last thing he needed at the moment.
Crap crap crap.
Getting on his hands and knees, slinging the messenger bag over his shoulder's he started to crawl for the door. Was it better to take off now and try to make it out of the library? Just in case they looked there first? Or try to dart out....Maybe if he made it to the class then they couldn't say he was skipping...he was just tardy?
Crap crap crap.
Slowly he moved towards the door that was cracked open a little bit, pushing it open very slowly as he reached it. Why couldn't he turn into a rat or something.......

Soren paused mid-dance as he was marching and swinging his "claws" about. The form was unnatural, off balance, yet he stood poised and still with only his head moving. As Theron once again offered to help in the search, the illusion's easily distracted mind found it's focus. The very life essence of the figure seemed to blow out of it like sands discarded from a broken hour glass. What stood standing in the same odd pose was some undead looking husk of Theron with it's eyes missing from the sunken sockets and the lips mummified in a scowl that showed all his teeth. He continued to dissolve into a floating mass of dust with only the skeletal head keeping its form. Whisking itself off between the others who were present, the wraith moaned, dancing and writhing sporadically in it's search for the missing Dita.

(Blech, she started it, I put the e to make fun of her, then was going to take it out and forgot XP)
Yllarius smirked and looked at Theron. "There's nothing to smell I assure you, here I'll proove it." As he said this he vanished, and in his place was a crude straw dummy which fill to the ground face up, a white bag as it's head was marked with a wide grin with a tongue sticking out, it was crudely drawn with a sharpy. In a few seconds Yllarius again entered the room. "If you could smell that, you have a problem." He grinned, Scarecrows were his most coming Illusionary objects for 'around'. He had other things for battle... Things that bleed...realistically....
Yllarius grinned and watched Soren for a minute, as he started to dissapear he laughed. "Losing concentration are we? Perhaps you swallowed a bug?" He mocked, clearly enjoying the site. He didn't like to be 'one-upped' as Theron put it, but this... 'thing' was incredibly amusing. If it only kept it's self a little nicer, like him.

"I haven't swallowed much of anything in a very long time," came a familiar and insane voice that had no body or even really a direction, "Oh how I loooong for a grape fruit." Continuing to move around over head and under tables was the dusty wraith which seemed completely separate from the vocals. Floating upward, the wraith stirred like a collective of gnats, sometimes forming the skull only to disintegrate and reform in a new direction as if it peered around. Suddenly it stopped, but for a few roving collections of dust, and slowly turned up toward the second floor balcony. Perhaps the creature had detected something on the edges of its sensory field?
The dust collapsed down to the floor then scattered as if a gust had dispersed it. The visual had ended, at least for all parties but Theron. For him only, there was a brief sensation, something like a vision popping into his head in which all the world was visible yet transparent. Focusing in on one side of this odd peripheral he could see the second floor balcony and the lower half of a pair of legs crawling outside of his view. He could even hear them scuffing across the floor over all the other equally clear yet distant sounds within his range. This is what and how Soren, the entity, saw his world, and for a creature not used to such an odd sense, it could be disorienting if not dizzying. Hard to tell if Soren had confidence that Theron could stomach it, or forgot about such side effects. The latter was growing increasingly more common as the entity grew older.

Theron could smell straw and stick, even if his eyes saw the golden form of Yllarius. But at times he proved to be more of an animal in a humanoid form.
When Yllarius disappeared Theron released the scarecrow with a raised brow, letting it topple to the ground. He didn't really like illusory magic very much to be honest. As an entity that relied heavily on physical senses, he disliked such misleading abilities. He knew some of the more powerful instructors could see through illusions, but...his physical eyes were sense. Now his astral senses...those were the ones he enjoyed using...
A sudden nausea washed over him as his vision changed to accomodate Soren, and Theron frowned, his eyes flickering slightly. "Soren!" he said seemingly to himself. "I don't need-- hey, is that him there?"
His strides long and purposeful, he heading up to the second floor balcony. "Hey, kid -- you might as well give it up and come out now."

The strange entity named Soren followed behind his material companion invisibly, drifting with the leisurely pace of someone who doesn't take life seriously most of the time. The sentient magic was actually rather relieved to have a flesh being helping him out. He wasn't sure what Dita was, and he was well aware that some creatures could see through illusion or dispell it. After all, Soren was nothing more than magic. He'd be hard pressed to handle anyone resistant to him.
Speaking into Theron's head specifically, Soren reminded him, "The student may have a valid reason for missing class. Not all skip because they're lazy or disrespectful, especially on the first day. It could simply be that he arrived late and felt it'd be rude to interrupt in the middle of class. I urge you to take a neutral approach until we figure out why."

"oh my gods, what do I do? What do I do?" Dita panicked and remained there on the ground almost frozen on the spot. They knew he was up there so there would be no reason for him to continue on his way down.
OR
He could play stupid...pretend that he didn't even notice they spoke to him, he could make it down the stairs as quickly as possible and get out and pretend that it was someone else. Drats! no that wouldn't work too well either. Feeling a little sick to his stomach, the blue haired boy grabbed the edge of the railing and stood up looking down at the teachers.
There was nothing he could say without looking even more like a fool. And he hadn't hear Soren's words clearly...so right now his heart was beating so quickly that he swore he was going to die.
This was a fine day...
