(CLASSROOM DESCRIPTION, everyone please read so you have an idea of the setting)
Stepping into the classroom for Mystical Creatures made one feel like they were leaving the castle entirely, as the polished floor of the corridor gave away to short, healthy grass. It was still walled in, but the walls were covered with an ivy-like plant the sprawled over the stone in intricate, mesmerizing patterns. The wall furthest from the entrance was covered with doors, each with a different, mysterious marking, and anyone who checked would find them securely locked. Small trees and other rich brush and vegation grew in the corners and reached up to the high ceiling, which was made of glass and revealed the beautiful sky.
There were no desks or chairs in the room, but the grass was comfortable and clean and clearly for sitting. At the front of the glass, a tangle of leaves and ivy formed what seemed to be a botanical throne with a strangely symmetrical curve of scarlet flowers adorning the sides. Most likely meant for the instructor.
At the door was a sign:
Welcome to Mystical Creatures class, Students, please remove your shoes before entering the room.
Thank you, Professor Ydranna

Edward rose an eyebrow at the sign at the door. Class wasn't too far from his previous period, and he had no need to go to his dorm for anything, so Edward, for once, was actually early. Just to be a little courteous, before annoying his next teacher, Edward slipped off his shoes and slid them into the red shoulder bag. CLICK! the door opened easily. The new setting from his previous class almost blinded him. From dark to light in less than five minutes. "Hiya, teacher!" Edward called, rather loudly. "I'm a bit early, but do you mind if I go ahead and come in?" The red-headed elf boy grinned widely. He was eager to see what this teacher was like.

"No, please have a seat," Professor Ydranna said to Edward with a smile.
He was a slenderly-built male in his early-thirties, with thick, red hair that curved about his shoulders and bright, green eyes. He had long, brown and red robes and seemed perfectly human. The air about him was respectable, but also very kind and fatherly, and he immediately struck the image of that paternal instructor who did whatever he could to aid his students. Although he had a strange melancholy about him as well, it was concealed through understanding smiles.
Most knew Professor Ydranna had been a bishop a few years ago, and rumor had it he had lost his wife and child in a gruesome murder. Who knew whether it was true or not...but since he had been a known ecclesiastical figure, the gossip couldn't be avoided.
There was a child with the instructor, a little girl of about nine years, helping him put some books on a bookshelf.
"I was just finishing up some last minute preparations before class."

The massah walked up outside the door and noticed the sign. Again, he wasn't built to read writings of this type, and his eyes squinted a bit trying to make out the letters. Stepping back a little, he found it easier to focus. "Remove your shoes. Gladly." Akrioc didn't much fancy the footwear or the clothing crafted for him haphazardly, but the school dress code required...well...shoes and clothes, and no amount of fussing could make him an exception. He untied the laces that wound up past his ankle and down his elongated foot whose platform he was meant to walk on. It revealed a similar arrangement of silvery-polished scales that branched off to run down to the tip of each toe, ending in a thick nail, almost like a talon. Tying the laces together from each sandal/boot, he flung them around his neck and stepped inside.
He was more than pleased to find grass under his feet and a skylight above his head. Massah could be notoriously claustrophobic, nervous at best in such confined spaces as these halls and classrooms. Akrioc was no exception to this general rule, though he hid it quite well. His nervousness manifested itself in a more...snappish sort of manner. At least in this class, he should be able to relax a bit.
He was tired of standing on his hind legs, a practice that's reserved mostly for arthritic elders whose hips and back lacked the flexibility to run with the clan. With a bit of an odd motion of his hips, a loud crack came from his body followed by another. His balanced obviously took a minor reduction as he started to sway a bit, but he soon plopped down on all fours. Adjusting the hips from biped to quadruped was similar in practice to a snake dislocating it's jaw. He simply detached them from the hinges at the base of his spine, and voila! He could run like a cheetah.
He trotted over to a corner, keeping his neck arched, but his eyes tilted up so he could see before him. Letting his hips drop first, he quickly wound himself up into a little ball, resting his head on his feet and watching lazily the rest of the room. It was times like this when he missed his tail and felt rather incomplete without it to coil around his body. It was a long sinuous appendage plated in bone shaped like vertebra and tipped with one of the oddest growths in the natural order, a club made of an unknown alloy developed by years of a high metallic diet and finally crafted at puberty into a lethal blade. The clan lopped it off after an incident where a disagreement resulted in a murder. He let out a bit of a snort as his mind wandered over the past, then laid his eyes on the only other student currently in the class, Edward.

Edward grinned. Podjroot was in this class as well. "Hiya!" He called, sitting next to him. "This is a pretty cool classroom huh?" He grinned. "Never seen anything like this before!" Edward laid back on the cool grass and closed his eyes, taking a deep breath. "It smells almost sweet. I'm not used to this kind of scent. Back where I used to live it was pretty muggy and you couldn't see the sky: Too much pollution." Edward shrugged. "This is a nice change." Edward turned to look at his neighbor. "How about you? You seem to be enjoying this as well." The red-headed elf's piercing eyes shot a glance at Podjroot, waiting for an answer.

The door of Sari's class room swung open as a man in his mid 30's walked in. His hair was short and gray and he had the most illumination violet eyes that were covered by his glasses.
With his hands in his pockets he walked over to Sari. It was rather tempting to place a kiss on the male's cheek..but he had class. That could wait.
Going over to the small little girl he put his hand in her hair and ruffled it a little bit before glancing over the students. "Thought I'd come and lend you a hand."

Akrioc stared at the red headed elf with a raised brow. The boy was a complete stranger to him, yet he acted more than chummy enough for the massah's comfort. Curling his lips into a bit of a smirk, the massah replied in a deep tone, "More to my liking than most rooms in this academy, but it would be better if there were no walls at all." Akrioc, in truth, wasn't too sure of what to do. He felt, personally, that his space was invaded, and wanted to kick or at least nudge Edward out of his zone. Instead, he balled himself up tighter, hoping it would diminish his proximity at least a little bit.
When the adult newcomer arrived, the massah raised his head and watched him with his eyes half closed. Once again, he took to reading the spirits of the people surrounding him. The newcomer, like most in this school, seemed human, though there were some traits that seemed out of the ordinary such as his eyes and his hidden affections for the teacher. Akrioc curled his lip for an instant when he caught wind of that. Affection irked him, whether they displayed it or not.
As for the professor, he seemed perfectly human with an innate knack for magic. Whether he practiced it or not, Akrioc wasn't gifted enough to read. The little girl, he barely bothered to glance over. His initial impression of her was, jokingly, as bait for the magical creatures, then he started to take it seriously, imagining the professor dangling her by a rope and stick over some carnivorous reptile. It made his mouth roll up into a sinister smile, before he went on to examine Edward.
His eyes expanded almost dangerously when he took his first glance into the kid's spirit. He was beaming like a light bulb with energy. If he were a massah, Akrioc might've been a bit competitive with a supply like that, but the boy was not. Beneath the waves of excess energy rolling out of Edward, the boy was nothing more than another humanoid. Within two seconds, Akrioc concluded many things: Edward had the potential to be the most obnoxious, bouncing-off-the-walls type character Akrioc had ever ran into, he was too chummy, probably too smart assed, probably going to cause everyone trouble, and most important of all, Akrioc wanted little to nothing to do with him.
Taking one of his feet, he gently nudged the boy as far away as his toes could reach, then retracted into a ball so tiny and tight, he was practically a little fortress of malice and annoyance.

Edward felt himself slide across the grass. His eyes widened in confusion before he began to laugh. "Personal space bubble, huh?" He figured. "Alright, I get it, no problem." The red head then bounced onto his feet and went to explore the classroom a little better. The ivy on the walls intrigued Edward. The boy gently fingered the soft leaves and smirked. The only "ivy" he's ever met was a girl back where he used to live with Avius and the rest of his family. Even then she was fake ivy. Quickly losing interest in the ivy, Edward stepped towards the doors on another wall to the room to inspect them. They seemed different; interesting. He tilted his head from left to right, exploring the possibilities of what might be behind them. Then he saw the little girl. Edward rose an eyebrow as he examined her. What was the purpose of having a small child in a classroom? She couldn't be much help in assisting the teacher, but in this school, Edward wouldn't be surprised if she was. Anything could happen here.

Willow had been busy help Sari put the books on the shelves and she was doing good for awhile. Until people started coming in. She then began to get nervous. She was a nervous girl anyways because of her past and she didn't do well in a crowd. Since she was so little and had a speech defect she was always worried that people wouldn't like her once they heard her voice so she chose not to speak. She did speak to Sari though, but only when they were alone.
When she placed the last book on the shelf, she clapped her hands together a bit to wipe the dust off her hands. She didn't dare look at the people that had already came in. So turned a bit towards Sari as she was trying to get the dust off her hands and nervously looked up into his face. It was a what do I do now face and she hoped that Sari would let her leave.

"You did very well, putting those up." Edward complimented the girl, as he silently made his way to stand next to her. The red-head's dashing smile sparkled. Edward looked down to her and continued smiling. "What's your name, kid?" He inquired, putting his hands in his pockets. The boy's flashing smile might have been encouraging. Edward hoped it was, anyway.

Despite his strong affection for Sen, Sari still had difficulty displaying such things in front of others. It wasn't so much that he was ashamed of the relationship, just that....years of being a bishop, wearing the mask of the perpetually kind father and being a representative of the church, had certainly taught him to hide anything personal. Especially around anyone else.
"Thank you, dear," he said to Willow with a smile, picking up some papers off his desk before turning to Sen with that same smile. "And you, too. Although I hope I don't need the extra help."
No, Sari wasn't going to let Willow leave. It wasn't safe for her to wander around alone -- there were all kinds of different races attending the school, and he didn't even trust all of the faculty. He felt much better where he could see and protect her.
And...perhaps it would do her good to be around some of the students. Many of them were quite friendly.
When Edward spoke to Willow, the bishop only glanced at the two briefly before deciding to let them interact, turning back to Sen.
"How was your class?" he asked, glancing over the papers as the rest of the students started arriving.

It was understood. He made up for the affection he couldn't show around the other's when the two were alone. Sen wasn't used to not showing affection. It was more like he had an image to uphold. He was Sisao's younger brother, also a wealthy businessman. Well he was until he became a teacher here.
He didn't like the idea of working in the city or somewhere far from Sari where he couldn't be there for him.
Sen's sleeve's were rolled up and his tie was hanging a little loose. He didn't care if he needed to look proper or not. He didn't care. He even had a thin cigar sitting behind his ear. " It was good. " He laughed a little looking over the students. "Lusen decided to talk the whole class." He chuckled licking his lip. His thin fingers reached up to touch his cigar
...d**n he needed a smoke.

Willow found herself looking up at Sari when the young lad began to talk to her. She had never spoken to anyone outside of Sari since she had been with him and she did not intend to start now. She was hoping that Sari might speak for her but she could tell that he had no intentions of doing that.
But this boys eyes were so pretty. Willow didn't mean to stare but she just couldn't get over his eyes. She hadn't seen anyone with that kind of eyes before. They about had to be turqouise willow thought to herself. Wow, it would be so neat to have that color of eyes.
Finally she realized she was staring and quickly looked down. She was really embarressed now and had no idea how long she had been staring at him. She quickly grabbed a pencil and paper off of Sari's desk and wrote her name on it and showed it to the boy. She quickly put the paper back down on the desk and wrote 'Willow be excused now?' and held it up for Sari to see.

Sari laughed a little at Sen's words. Yeah, that sounded like Lusen. That boy could be a chatterbox sometimes, and Innovin wasn't much better. "It's the first day, and they're excited," he said with a smile. "The hype will wear off."
His students finished arriving, and Sari glanced at his attendance sheet before noticing Willow's message. He smiled kindly at her, kneeling down so he was eye level with the girl.
"I need you to stay here with me today, Willow," Sari explained, touching her shoulder briefly. "Is that okay?"
For now, he didn't have anywhere else she could go. But when he got the chance, he would look for other options so she didn't have to stay in the class with him if she didn't want to.
"Why don't you take a seat so I can take attendance," he told the red-headed male student, rising.

Edward nodded. "Sure sure," He called. The redhead sat in the back and slid his black cell phone out of his pocket. The girl he had been communicating with back home had yet to reply to him. He thought that maybe she had not received the text message he sent. But, before opening the phone, Edward examined it. Something didn't seem quite right about it. Edward told himself to wait until he could be outside before he opened it up. He was a bit paranoid for no reason. Thing is: that only happens if something is going to happen soon. So he decided to just discretely slide the phone back into his pocket and pay attention for once, since he won't be able to screw around. What a drag.
